Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Challenge

liveSAFE Resources is a proud participant in the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Challenge, a fundraising competition where charities and nonprofits for domestic violence survivors compete to raise money. To date, profits from the challenge have helped more than 800,000 domestic violence survivors nationwide through financial education and empowerment. The top reason women give for being unable to leave their spouse is financial abuse, so the Purple Purse Challenge seeks to free survivors from this burden. It awards the Challenge’s top teams with grand prize donations totaling $650,000, in addition to the donations they collect themselves.
