LiveSafe Resources is proud to announce that thanks to generous grants from Greater Good Charities and RedRover + Purina’s Purple Leash Project, the organization will soon complete renovations to offer a dedicated pet sanctuary for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. LiveSafe Resources will become one of the first sexual assault and domestic organizations in Metro Atlanta to become pet-friendly, allowing survivors to keep their beloved pets while seeking support.
Increasing Our Support Efforts
Approximately 47% of domestic violence survivors will delay leaving their abusers if they cannot take their pets with them. By providing a safe haven for survivors and their pets, LiveSafe Resources will soon be able to support more victims in leaving their violent situations and seeking help.
